Monica Biacchi, assistant principal viola, studied under Karen Tuttle at the Juilliard School and with Vladimir Mendelssohn at the Hague and Rotterdam conservatories. She was awarded a diploma in 1990 from Fiesole School of Music in Florence, Italy, under Maestro Piero Farulli. She attended master classes with the Tokyo String Quartet and Guarneri String Quartet.
